Flåm is an absolutely gorgeous village sitting at the end of Aurlandsfjord which features a number of small shops, cafes (including a brewery) and a train station for the Flåm Railway which is one of the steepest railways in the world and apparently offers amazing views as it climbs up onto the Hardangervidda plateau where the majority of our passengers headed off to.

Epcot – Festival of the Arts

I feel privileged to have worked in EPCOT during the Food and Wine Festival and also Flower and Garden. However Festival of the Arts is relatively new – this year is its second year I believe – and I didn’t really have any expectations. I was genuinely happily surprised with the offering Disney had created and felt it really enhanced the park’s atmosphere.

While at the Magic Kingdom park Fiona introduced me to an awesome game – Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom that you can play in the Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World. As the story goes Hades has decided to make the park his new summer home and assisted by various Disney Villains is trying to take over the Magic Kingdom Park. Standing in his way is Merlin who needs your help to defeat them.

Happily Ever After

As much as I was looking forward to our Disney vacation I’d be lying if I didn’t say that it seemed strange and sad that I wouldn’t finish a single day watching ‘Wishes’ at the Magic Kingdom. Over ten years ago Wishes sparkled into the Magic Kingdom, and since my first CP position was in the Magic Kingdom and included hosting a dream of watching Wishes from Astro Top as part of the Year of a Million Dreams this firework display holds a special place in my heart.
